Olivia and Kristen’s son, Freddie lived and died at the Neonatal Unit, Christchurch women’s Hospital.

They desired to remember Freddie’s life and give thanks to all who supported them through their journey.

“We are immensely proud and grateful to have the doctors and nurses in the Christchurch Neonatal unit, who showed compassion, relentless diligence and above all else genuine heartfelt care towards Freddie and us. These wonderful people do a tough job day in day out, and they make a very real difference to the lives of the babies and their families, for those who get to go home and for those who do not.”

This resulted in the production of a cook book with contributions from PricewaterhouseCoopers, Christchurch Women’s Hospital, friends and family, and especially Jim Barber –for the idea and the drive to make it happen.

Proceeds of $71,280 from this book have been made to the Canterbury Neonatal Unit Trust Fund.
